About

I'm Manan Singh, a youth changemaker and public policy enthusiast from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Currently, am a third-year undergraduate student at O.P. Jindal Global University, pursuing B.A.(Hons.) Liberal Arts and Humanities with a major in History. As the Founder of the youth-led organization - YOUNG MINDS, I work towards enabling youth as agents of change in their local communities.

I have a strong passion for learning and making a positive impact on the world around me. I have always been enthusiastic about education, and have spent years at an NGO volunteering and understanding communities. I am dedicated to contributing to positive social change and truly believe in the strength of society. My work at NITI Aayog and at the office of Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Shri Sujeet Kumar and Shri Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, have helped me better understand how one can create an impact through public policy. I have also been part of the Class of 2023 of the United Nations Millennium Fellowship and initiated a project called 'Khwaab'. Along with being a Certified Youth Educator, I have been part of various impact-driven and research-centric fellowship programmes, including the Peace Gong Fellowship 2024 and the PILOT programme of Pratham.

My work has been appreciated and recognized at numerous national and international platforms, and I have been invited for podcasts, panel discussions, and seminars. My story has been featured by a number of organizations in the form of sections in magazines, on their websites, and on social media handles.

My academic interests are in areas of Indian History, Public Policy, International relations and geopolitics, religious studies, and social issues. I have published various articles and research papers with renowned organizations like Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Opinion Express, and Jindal Global Centre for G20 Studies.

When I'm not working, you might find me on a basketball court shooting hoops, listening to Indian classical music, reading and writing poetry, or playing the tabla (which I am a Visharad in). Besides that, I have also had an interest in theatre since a very young age.

Mission

My mission is to empower the youth and make them agents of change in their local communities. Especially for the underprivileged youth, I wish to work towards upskilling them which will assist them in having a life through which they can help their families and uplift their communities while making a better life for themselves, and actively contributing to nation-building.

Vision

To create a global impact through training, collaboration, awareness, and research.

Let's join hands to make our planet a better place to live in, TOGETHER.
